Inspired by an adventurous sailing trip into the night along California's rugged central coast when I was 18. A friend and I were sailing his boat down the coast from Morro Bay to Redondo Beach, leaving at sunset after a storm had passed. The ocean swells were almost engulfing the small 24 foot vessel, dark ocean all around and a similarly dark sky above. I was tethered to the boat for safety as an occasional wave swept over the craft. We hugged the coastline and almost ran against the cliffs, though finally made it safely to our first stop the next morning at Santa Barbara! With both feet still swaying from the journey, but safely on stable dry ground, I decided that was enough adventure for me, that night on the Pacific.

Tonal of deep navy blue/ and navy/black. Excellent mixer.
